- Relevant qualification in loss prevention, security management, administration of justice or a related field; equivalent experience could suffice as an alternative.
- Demonstrable loss prevention program exposure, including experience in a distribution environment at senior level,

About the team
The role of Security & Loss Prevention Manager in MUC3 is part of the Loss Prevention Cluster 9, which covers southern Germany. Under the lead of the Cluster Manager, the team counts up to 8 individuals on different sites throughout the whole cluster area. In MUC3 2 Loss Prevention Specialists work with you on steadily increasing the security level.
Amazon is seeking a Loss Prevention Manager to join the Loss Prevention Cluster 9 (which covers southern Germany) in order to deliver tangible benefits, by providing Security-as-a-Service for the whole supply chain.
You will be based in the MUC3 Fulfillment Center in Graben/Augsburg, but will also support multiple Amazon Sites of different business type within the cluster in the following fields:
- Loss exposure and loss controls analysis,
- Loss investigation, and when necessary, theft investigation,
- Physical security systems and controls,
- Contracting guard services,
- Workplace violence mitigation,
- Loss prevention education and awareness,
- Thorough loss prevention audit programs,
- Incident Management
Key job responsibilities
- Effectively partner with operations and support functions, in evaluating current and future business processes and security initiatives
- Monitor the Amazons Sites within Loss Prevention Cluster 9 in terms of ongoing compliance with Amazon’s security policies
- Identify, develop and implement additional loss prevention strategies to meet the unique needs of the Amazons Sites within Loss Prevention Cluster 9
- Conduct internal investigations on policy violations and malicious activity
- Respond to emergency situations within the cluster
- Work in a team of 5 Loss Prevention Managers and 2 Specialists
- Regular workplace is MUC3, but the ability to travel to other sites in the cluster is required by business need (business travel up to 30%, home office possible)

- Higher academic degree or relevant qualification would be advantageous,
- A grasp of Kaizen and Lean methodologies and techniques would be advantageous,
- Certification in formal investigation procedures (Wicklander/Zulawski) is a plus
