Security Dispatcher-Full Time Evenings -Piedmont Augusta
Job description
JOB PURPOSE: Daily operation of Security Dispatch (communication center). Effective pro-active monitoring of CCTV systems. Answers all 3911 emergency calls. Screening of after hour visitors using Star system to verify patient information. Required to communicate with visitors, staff, physicians, patients and family members.
Requirements
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
High school graduate or GED
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Two (2) years of experience in the field as a 911 operator or as a Security/Police Dispatcher.
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
None.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Must possess excellent public relations/customer service skills and able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
Must possess multi-tasking ability.
