As a Securitization Strategy Vice President in the Chase Auto Finance Treasury team you will take on a leadership role in the finance organization. The main responsibilities will be managing capital and liquidity initiatives. You will partner with the Chase Auto Treasury team, Consumer and Community Bank (CCB) treasury team and the capital markets team to ensure proper treatment for each of your responsibilities.
Job Responsibilities

- Deep understanding of JPMC current and expected capital constraints
- Continuous review of the Auto business to identify options to optimize ROE and SVA in the portfolio and translate to future strategy impacts
- Ensure alignment between originations strategy and planned use of capital and liquidity
- Establish recommendations on capital allocation and return targets across business segments. Monitor retail auto portfolios to ensure required levels of profitability.
- Lead the analysis on capital markets alternative structures and their impact to ROA, ROE and SVA. Monitor Asset Back Securities market and conduct related analytics.
- Perform ad-hoc financial analysis to investigate and assess any industry related topics and strategic options. Identify trends and draw conclusions from data
- Monitor economic trends and prepayment rates.
- Create and analyze alternative funding strategies. Analyze the impact of short funding, forward funding and / or match funding; when to use any one or any combination of these strategies. Develop new ideas for other funding possibilities; analyze the potential risks and rewards of those strategies.
Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities
- Bachelors Degree in finance, accounting, economics or subject of similar nature
- Minimum 7 years in finance or treasury in a financial services firm
- Capital market experience
- Ability to build and manage robust financial models using Microsoft Excel is a must
- Exceptional PowerPoint skills and the demonstrated ability to produce senior management presentations
- Understanding of portfolio funding concepts
- Demonstrated analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Masters in Business Administration
- Working knowledge of financial applications such as Essbase, SQL and SAP will be a strong advantage
Soft Skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage highly matrixed cross functional teams
- Proven leader with the ability to drive results on with large scale deliverables
- Ability to communicate to leadership in a concise and effective manner, both verbally and written
Candidates must be able to physically work in our Wilmington, DE or Jersey City, NJ office 3 days a week and remotely from home 2 days per week. The specific schedule will be determined and communicated by direct management.
