The kitchen supports our many festivals throughout the year, where we have to constantly change the menu to match all of the different events. We are searching for friendly and highly-motivated individuals who will thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Properly learn and execute all food preparation for the events
• Maintain cleanliness throughout kitchen
• Follow company safety and sanitation policies and procedures

Must be 18 years of age or over

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team oriented environment
• Must have some knowledge of knife skills
• Food handler permit required
• Physical demands of the job include but are not limited to:
• Standing and walking during entire 8-hour shift
• Reaches, bends, stoops, lifts, shakes, stirs, pours and carries supplies

Established in 1884, Highland Springs Ranch & Inn (formerly known as Highland Springs Resort) is Riverside County's first historical landmark. The property encompasses 2400 acres and is comprised of an organic farm and event ground. Formerly a stagecoach stop, the ranch was frequented by such historical celebrities as Wyatt Earp, Ernest Hemingway and Albert Einstein.

About the upcoming Lavender Festival

• Each summer, 123 Farm at Highland Springs Ranch & Inn celebrates the beginning of lavender harvest season by hosting the annual Lavender Festival. Visitors of all ages are invited to stroll through the winding paths of organic lavender fields, participate in guided tours in horse-drawn hay wagons, learn how lavender essential oil is extracted, taste lavender-inspired dishes and enjoy live music. The organic herbs grown at 123 Farm are featured prominently throughout the family-friendly festival through various refreshing lavender-inspired favorites such as lavender lemonade, lavender ice cream, and many other exciting lavender infused foods!
