Under the close direction of a behavior consultant, the Registered Behavior Technician will provide full building behavior support to individuals and groups for a local school district. Job Details:
- Full-time position, M-F. Normal school day hours
- K-2 caseload across three classrooms
- This position runs for the duration of the school year. Some ESY needs may be available.

Our behavior technicians are trained to adapt to the ever-changing needs of educational youth. Playing a key role in supporting students with behavioral, social-emotional or mental health concerns, behavior technicians work closely with multidisciplinary teams to:
- Support students though 1:1, small group, and class-wide interventions in efforts to advance their academic, personal, and social functioning through application of principles of applied behavior analysis.
- Implement individualized education and behavior plans as directed by the behavior supervisor
- Collect daily behavior and skill data to assist in progress monitoring
- Work with multidisciplinary team to promote understanding of behavior analytic procedures
- Assist school in implementing social/emotional learning programs for students as directed
- Respond and assist to crisis situations in accordance to the students behavior intervention plan
- Participate in meetings with parents and students, and/or teachers as needed to advance student progress
- Complete all training and actively participate in required supervision in accordance with program and agency guidelines
- Must have High Diploma or equivalent
- Must have minimum one year demonstrated experience working in a school setting, preferably with students with significant behavioral and emotional challenges.
- RBT certification is required
- Must be comfortable using a computer
- Must be able to complete clinical documentation to school district standards
