Our client is seeking an experienced Endpoint Configuration Manager/SCCM Administrator responsible for the successful operations and continued performance of Endpoint Configuration Manager/SCCM systems supporting and operating the U.S. Armys Enterprise Management System (EMS) component of the Army Training Information System (ATIS). ATIS provides the underlying infrastructure to manage and deliver standardized training to Soldiers and other learners. The ATIS program designs, tests, implements, operates, and sustains an enterprise that provides a common operational picture of the training environment through integrated, interoperable training development, management, scheduling, and delivery capabilities. ATIS enables Commanders, leaders, Soldiers, and civilians to understand, visualize, describe, direct, lead, and assess training requirements to plan, prepare, execute, and assess training. ATIS also provides the institutional, organizational and self-development Army training domains to manage individual and collective training and education requirements.

Work will be performed on-site at the Governments facility located on Joint Base Langley Eustis (JBLE) in Newport News, VA and periodically at the Acquisition Logistics and Technology Enterprise System and Services (ALTESS) data center COOP site in Radford, VA. A United States Citizenship, an active Secret Clearance and IAT Level II compliance is required to be considered for this position.

Responsibilities:

• Designing, implementing, planning, managing, and configuring Endpoint Configuration Manager/SCCM
• Deploying related applications and managing upgrades for the software
• Maintain standard PC/Laptop images
• Deploy driver updates, BIOS updates for a range of models, maintain configuration baselines and prevent configuration drift, and work with and assist all other team
• Endpoint Configuration Manager/SCCM Server upgrades, setting up remote Endpoint Configuration Manager/SCCM Distribution points and be able to manage service point to provide policy and download content
• Understand and comply with licensing requirements for software installed
• Create\import applications and packages within Endpoint Configuration Manager/SCCM
• Create application task sequences
• Troubleshoot application delivery issues
• Application delivery planning\implementation
• Task sequencing building and troubleshooting
• Application delivery at build time
• Windows 10 Deployment experience
• Security Patch management
• Windows Updates
• Planning and implementation of Endpoint Configuration Manager/SCCM Patch management
• Will perform the IAT Level II functions described in 8570.01

Requirements:

• Must have 7+ years’ previous experience in administration of Endpoint Configuration Manager/SCCM
• 5+ yrs with a BA/BS or no degree with 7+ yrs experience
• Ability to monitor the progress of multiple concurrent and highly visible projects and requirements
• Ability to analyze issues and take required corrective actions
• Experience working within the Department of Defense is highly desired
• Must meet DoDD 8570.01 certification requirements for IAT Level II baseline (security+ and Computing environment certifications)
• Must be a US Citizen and pass a background check
• Must have active Secret Clearance.
