SAP Project Manager

The Project Manager (PM) will be responsible for overseeing the successful completion of projects and can work in a wide variety of fields, such as SAP, information technology, automotive, and manufacturing. Although specific tasks will depend on a Project Manager’s employer and their current project, they will generally be responsible for the creation, organization, execution, and completion of specific projects. This includes managing relevant employees, setting deadlines, communicating with company executives about the state of the project, ensuring projects stay on track and on budget, and adjusting if necessary to meet new requirements.

Project Managers typically manage six different aspects of projects: scope, schedule, finance, risk, quality, and resources.

• Lead pursuits and develop business with new and existing clients
• Creating long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones, adhering to deadlines, and allocating resources
• Identifying and managing potential risks and liabilities of multiple projects
• Making effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project
• Serving as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy
• Communicating with executives or the board to keep the project aligned with their goals
• Performing quality control on the project throughout development to maintain the standards expected
• Adjusting schedules and targets on the project as needed
• Motivating people involved in the project to complete tasks on time
• Become a trusted advisor to our customers to shape the future of automotive and manufacturing actively
• Maintain profitability and financial health for the Business Field
• Ensure the development of the most relevant and innovative skills and capabilities within the team
• Develop and advance MHP’s reputation within the North American marketplace

• 8+ years of experience in the consulting industry
• 5+ years of experience implementing SAP solutions
• 2+ years of experience in the Automotive sector preferred
• Hands-on S/4 HANA Finance implementation experience
• Knowledge of various project management methodologies (e.g., agile/scrum)
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• Understanding of the Project Management Institute (PMI) framework
• Agile certification and/or experience is preferred
• US Citizen or authorization to work in the US
• Must be able to travel up to 100%
