Hayes Pipe Supply, Inc. has entry-level opportunities for Sales/Management Trainee candidates in our NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE location. We are looking for career-minded college graduates (recent grads/ future grads) who are seeking a professional career opportunity with a growth-oriented company. This candidate must be outgoing, self-motivated, detail-oriented and possess a strong desire to succeed in a long-term career opportunity. Preferred areas of study: construction management, engineering, business, etc. These positions train the right candidates for long-term career opportunities in either inside/outside sales, operations management, etc. in our branch locations. Hayes Pipe has 11 locations in the southeast.

Out of location candidates considered with training time spent in our Nashville, Tennessee corporate headquarters with furnished accommodations provided.

Training Program:

HPS offers a “hands-on" training program for all new sales and/or management personnel. Our training program starts with the trainee having an introductory period in our warehouse. This is a great opportunity to gain product knowledge and a grass roots understanding of our business through the shipping and receiving department. The training program will progress into Inside Sales/Customer Service where he/she will be exposed to many facets of the business. We believe this style of training program builds confidence and enhances the abilities in all our new sales personnel. It allows them to gain important product knowledge, exposure to our customer base and a good general working knowledge of the business.

Our customer base consists of utility contractors, general, grading and fire protection contractors, municipalities and private developers in Tennessee, Kentucky, Georgia, Florida, South Carolina and Texas. We represent the top manufacturers in the utility construction industry. Our product offering consists of pipe, valves, fire hydrants and accessory items necessary for the installation of water lines, sewer lines, storm sewer lines and other underground utilities.
