Location: Remote within US
Opportunity
- Manage research work que via shared Outlook inbox (distributors, direct leaders,
national accounts, or governmental accounts). - Research and investigate part interpretation to solve customer inquiries (looking into part
books, drawings, warranty systems, product catalogs and others). - Ability to quote lead time and list price for parts not in stock.
- Support On-Time-Delivery department metric.
- Run reports on agreed upon schedule.
- Daily email/phone communication with customers to secure high levels of service.
- SAP usage to achieve tasks.
COMMERCIAL EXCELLENCE
- Champion high levels of customer service.
- Visit customers or attend critical meetings as requested.
- Attend trade shows or important events as requested.
- Engage in commercial initiatives such as product and online parts catalog training.
Skills/Requirements
- Associate degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Accounting or Computer Science is preferred.
- Candidate should be a proactive, analytical thinker with good judgment and curiosity to identify and solve underlying problems, suggest programs, and study alternative methods of operation.
- Familiarity with generators, automotive, large machinery, or equivalent products.
- Skilled use of Microsoft Office Applications as well as an in-depth knowledge of SAP sales
functions preferred. - Responsible self-starter who will work independently to meet deadlines and commitments to support the division.
- Must take ownership of projects and be accurate and thorough in execution of tasks.
- Good problem-solving skills and writing skills are required.
- Good planning and organization skills are a must to juggle multiple projects.
- Should project a professional image with external and internal customers.
Travel
- Up to 15% domestic travel for team functions and distributor visits
