Job description

A telemetry RN (Registered Nurse) is responsible for monitoring patients who require continuous cardiac monitoring. The telemetry RN job involves working in hospital settings and caring for patients who are critically ill or require specialized care.

The responsibilities of a telemetry RN may include:

• Monitoring patient vital signs and cardiac rhythms using telemetry equipment.
• Identifying changes in patient conditions and notifying physicians or other healthcare providers.
• Administering medications and performing other treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Assisting with diagnostic procedures such as electrocardiograms (ECGs) and stress tests.
• Educating patients and their families on cardiac conditions, medications, and self-care.
• Documenting patient information and maintaining accurate medical records.
• Collaborating with other healthcare providers to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care.
• Maintaining a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.

Pay: $65.00 - $68.00 per hour
