Divisional Director of Clinical Operations

The CommuniCare Family of Companies currently owns/operates more than 90 World-Class Nursing and Rehabilitation Centers, Specialty Care Centers and Assisted Living Communities. Since 1984, CommuniCare Health Services has provided superior, comprehensive management services for the development and management of adult living communities.

We are looking for a licensed nurse with Long Term Care experience to fill a key position, Divisional Director of Clinical Operations for our Midwest Division. This position is responsible for our facilities in Indiana, Missouri, and Southern Ohio.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required.
• Current unencumbered Nursing License in State of Indiana, Missouri, and/or Ohio.
• Direct experience in long term care, quality assurance, and corporate supervision roles.
• Multi-location oversight responsibilities, 20+ facilities preferred.
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of long-term care State and Federal regulatory process.
• Knowledge of State and Federal regulations and the survey process.
• Experience in formulating policy, and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Direct clinical programs to enhance quality of patient care in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern Skilled Nursing.
• Develop clinical policies and procedures to assure quality services and compliance with State/ Federal regulations and current standards of practice.
• Plan and direct data-driven and proactive quality improvement programs to improve the overall quality of the care delivered to residents.
• Work collaboratively with facilities and regional team members to ensure that each facility identifies appropriate clinical staffing levels.
• Assure each facility achieves ongoing substantial compliance in clinical services.
• Assure progressive clinical excellence through oversight of orientation, training, and competency validation processes.
• Work collaboratively with the executive team on identifying and implementing standardized clinical models.
• Maintain relationship and communication with all Regional Staff members and facility leadership, utilizing individual expertise when required.
• In conjunction with Risk and Compliance, investigate, aid in resolution, document, and report all Customer Service Hotline Calls.
• Research, develop, and implement specialty programs that designate CommuniCare as a superior provider in Long Term Care.
