Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and grow core infusion therapy admissions through customer relationships. Provide responsive customer service within assigned hospitals and various facilities to identify new business opportunities to meet and exceed growth goals.
  • Initiates a proactive approach with physicians, discharge planners, and payers to identify discharge candidates, develop patient care plans, and orchestrate a smooth transition from the acute care setting to home.
  • Regularly meets with hospital care team to include physicians, nursing staff, case managers and discharge planners/social workers in the hospital to act as a key contributor to post-discharge planning for the infusion patients.
  • Conduct initial infusion set-up and patient/caregiver training on our therapy services and technology
  • Ensures continuity of care as a priority.
  • Work closely with the Account Executive and Director of Infusion Growth to present and negotiate therapy programs and contribute to market growth business planning.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in credentialed field preferred.
  • Registered Nurse in the state of employment required.
  • Experience in infusion healthcare marketing preferred.
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in infusion healthcare preferred.
  • Sales experience preferred.
  • Experience with Medicare Home Infusion Benefit– Skilled need, homebound status determination.

Skills

  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage.
  • Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from leaders, colleagues, investors, and external parties. Strong written and verbal communications.
  • Other Skills and Abilities: Ability to complete a patient assessment, have venous access skills. Knowledge of standard practices for all services offered (ACHC standards). Ability to understand, read, write, and speak English. Articulates and embraces hospice philosophy. Strong understanding of Infusion/Specialty Pharmacy.

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations

  • Current CPR certification required.
  • Active and unencumbered Registered Nursing License in state of employment required.
