Job description

Core duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to,

• Responsible for right fitting our products and services to new and existing customers
• Responsible for understanding and exceeding monthly commission based sales goals and focuses
• Responsible for keeping current on virtual learning sessions provided by the company
• Responsible for handling customer service issues, customer payments, and customer requests
• Responsible for monitoring the store merchandise to maintain optimum inventory levels
• Responsible for maintaining the store standards and appearance by Metro by T-Mobile standards
• Must be able to work independently in a physical retail store
• Maintain dialogue and communication through a company messaging service
• Other miscellaneous duties as assigned by the store manager

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

• Graduation from high school, possession of a certificate of proficiency issued by the California State Board of Education or attainment of a satisfactory score on a G.E.D. examination.

Experience:

• At least two years of commission based sales experience in a physical retail store environment

Highly Desired:

• Self-motivated and have the ability to communicate to customers in Spanish.
• Ability to multi task by answering phones, data entry, and communicating with customers at the same time.
• Strong communication and sales skills and the ability to ensure customer satisfaction on a daily basis while maintaining operations within a retail store environment
• Ability to type a minimum of 35 words per minute and use the 10-key effectively

Knowledge of:

• Microsoft office suite, Point of sale software, how to operate telephone, cellular, and computer equipment

Ability to:

• Follow oral and written instructions quickly and accurately.
• Provide prompt, accurate, and efficient customer service.
• Establish and maintain effective communications with your customers, fellow employees, and management

Physical Requirements:

• Extended periods of time standing
• Lifting up to 50 pounds
• Occasional bending, stooping, pulling
• Repetitive motion tasks while doing computer work

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
