Osage County Guns, a leading firearms and accessories retailer, is seeking a dynamic and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Retail Associate. As a Retail Associate, you will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in customer service, preferably in retail or related industry, but not required.
• Strong knowledge of firearms and accessories, including safety regulations and state/federal laws. If you do not have experience, we will train you!
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills, including point of sale (POS) systems.
• Must be at least 18 years old and eligible to possess firearms in accordance with federal and state laws.
• Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.

Expectations:

• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with product inquiries, purchases, and returns.
• Process Federal background checks on customer wanting to buy a firearm.
• Demonstrate extensive knowledge of firearms and accessories to assist customers in making informed decisions.
• Follow all safety regulations and protocols to ensure a safe shopping environment for customers and staff.
• Maintain store cleanliness and organization, including restocking shelves and merchandising.
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the store's POS system.
• Stay updated with changes in firearms laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
• Provide support to store management as needed.
• Uphold the values and brand image of Osage County Guns.

Job Details:

• Position Type: Full-time.
• Work Days: Tuesday - Friday 10am - 6pm & Saturday 9am - 5pm
• Location: Osage County Guns retail store in Wright City, Missouri.
• Compensation: Competitive hourly rate based on experience, with opportunities for advancement.
