Wychmere Beach Club is seeking to add a full-time year round Maintenance Engineer to our team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Engineer's responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Performing general maintenance and repairs in the guest rooms and suites, venue spaces, restaurants and public areas
• Responsible for preventative maintenance for all building structures on the entire property
• Responsible for general maintenance and repairs on all minor mechanical issues involving: HVAC, electrical, plumbing etc.
• Perform regularly scheduled safety inspections, including, but not limited to, fire safety devices, elevator, emergency evacuation policies of the property to maintain compliance with all town codes and insurance guidelines
• Responsible for executing walk through lists and updating the Chief Engineer weekly on progress
• Responsible for assisting with snow removal during the off-season, as needed
• Exemplify a solid work ethic and promote a team environment

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:

• Previous hotel, resort or Club property maintenance experience preferred
• Should have some knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and carpentry concepts
• Require availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays
• Good written & verbal communication skills
• Exceptional organizational and multi‐tasking skills

PAY:

Hourly Rate determined upon skills and experience level

Job Type: Full-time
