• Bachelor Degree in Human Services OR a HS Diploma with 1 year of direct care experience.
• Valid drivers' license required - must be able to drive an organization automobile/van
• Must have Act 33/34/73 Clearances upon hire
• Preemployment drug screening

SCHEDULE: (Non- Exempt, hourly pay rate)

Sunday and Monday off. Tuesday through Saturday 3p-10:30p flexibility is needed and schedule may change according to program needs.

This Home is a 3 bed home and currently has 2 men living here. Both of whom require hands on assistance with all personal care.

About the Role:

The Residential Care Advisor is a Direct Service position which provides assistance and training to individuals with Intellectual Disabilities and is directly responsible to the Program Specialist and Supervisor. This position is designed to provide quality services as guided by Positive Practices, Person Centered Planning, ISP's and is expected to operate with considerable flexibility, initiative and professionalism. The Advisor may need to have a direct caseload of 2 or more individuals in order to cover staffing needs. Expectation that staff will be expected to relocated as needed to meet minimum staffing at any program. In the event of unforeseeable emergencies, staff may be required to stay until replacement comes. Staffing is usually single coverage for all shifts.
