Summary:
The Regional Director of Logistics provides a support function in logistics and management to the program teams and works closely with ownership, business leaders, and management teams to enable them to effectively deliver their projects and services. The role covers a broad range of responsibilities including: procurement, import and export, scheduling, profit & loss, interpreting and tracking of KPI metrics, contract reviews, reporting, analytics and finance.
Requirements:
· 5+ years of Logistics Experience
· Military Experience required
· Multi-unit/regional experience a plus
· Must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process and continuously meet any applicable state, county and municipal requirements
Roles & Responsibilities:
· Plan, manage and evaluate logistics operations liaising with Metro One management
· Conducts analysis on performance trends, Profit & Loss and collaborates with regional management on determining and implementing solutions to noted deficiencies and adverse trend development related to workforce management
· Review, interpret, prepare and edit contracts
· Create and implement best practice logistics principles, policies and processes across the organization to improve financial and operational performance
· Deliver solutions to logistics problems while maintaining high levels of quality and service within requirements and standards
· Oversee scheduling to ensure maximum productivity
· Responsible for attaining regional goals and national standards for unfilled service hours, non-billed overtime, gross margin (payroll vs. billing), workforce related revenue and cost containment
· Reports, oversees, Profit & Loss and drives compliance to policies and practices that regard accurate and timely reporting of time records, exception resolution, weekly payroll closings and invoicing accuracy
· Provides KPI reporting and analysis to the Vice President and Regional Business Leader for workforce related metrics
· Provides forecasting for recruitment, scheduling and staffing needs based upon seasonal history, new business transitions, Profit & Loss, evolving labor market conditions, and collaborates with regional management in plan development and implementation
