Job Description
TEC is looking for a Recruiter to support the Human Resources Department in ensuring smooth and efficient business operations through administrative and strategic responsibilities. This role will plan and administer functions such as benefits and worker’s compensation. Responsibilities
- Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and sourcing strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization
- Creates ads and manages the posting of all job openings
- Screens applications and selects qualified candidates for management referral
- Organizes and conducts interviews with hiring managers
- Collaborates with hiring managers and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, discussing salary, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details
- Manages the pre-employment testing and background checks process
- Manages the onboarding process for new hires
- Develops a pipeline of candidates for openings
- Manages the process for Exit Interviews
- Assist the HR Director in developing and updating of job descriptions
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies
- Attends and participates in college job fairs and recruiting events
Job Requirements and Preferences
- High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate Degree preferred.
- A minimum of three (3) years of recruiting experience or human resources experience required.
- Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Must possess strong communication and organizational skills.
