Pelican Bay Foundation is the premier luxury community in Naples, FL. One of the area’s largest exclusive enclaves, situated on more than three square miles and bordered by pristine white-sand beaches, our community offers the most diverse slate of amenities and activities anywhere in the region, and we are seeking a full-time Receiver to join our Food and Beverage team, full-time in Naples, FL.

The Foundation manages all common areas, including two beach facilities and two private beachfront restaurants, two tennis facilities, two boardwalks, the Fitness Center and Wellness Studio, the Community Center, and approximately 90 acres of land.

We are searching for an enthusiastic, self-motivated, flexible individual who is skilled in accurate processing of all receivable goods and invoices. Schedule is "typically" Wednesday-Sunday from 8am - 4pm or 9am-5p, and holidays.

What You’ll Do

• Communicate with all staff to understand their needs. Fulfill product requisitions that come from the restaurant staff
• Deliver products to the various outlets, loading and unloading goods in designated areas
• Meet the delivery trucks and ensures all ordered items are accounted for and in good condition. If any discrepancy, notify the Purchasing Manager or Receiving Supervisor
• Proper rotation of First-in First-out (FIFO) of products and food safety and sanitization, (i.e., awareness of product shelf life)
• Ensure accuracy of inventory requests and invoices prior to submitting, fulfilling, issuing and/or accepting
• Complete cleaning projects
• Other assignments and projects as necessary

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma/ GED or equivalent
• Any combination of education, training, and work experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities as described including a thorough knowledge and related work experience considered
• Completion of FL DBPR SafeStaff food handler certification within 6 months of employment; will provide training as required

Skills & Experience

• Minimum 6 months experience in food and/or beverage warehouse/stocking position
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and bend, stoop and reach frequently
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time; walk; use hands to touch, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop; kneel; crouch; or crawl; and talk; or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit
• Must possess a Florida operator’s license in good standing with an acceptable official driving record
