M Health Fairview has an immediate opening for a Casual Radiologic Technologist at our M Health Fairview clinic in Andover.
Responsibilities/Job Description:
The Radiologic Technologist functions independently based on the boundaries of professional practice in performing all major work responsibilities. The technologist is responsible for performing these responsibilities in accordance with all policy, procedures, and regulatory agency requirements.
Prioritizes work to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Determines and revises priorities for diagnostic testing.
- Uses appropriate communication skills to meet patient/family, and other customer needs.
- Communicates optimally with all members of the health care team.
Applies established professional guidelines and standards to complex, routine, and non-routine diagnostic testing procedure.
- Adheres to radiologic diagnostic testing procedures.
- Documents compliance with regulatory agency requirements.
- Follows infection control guidelines.
- Adheres to safety protocols.
- Ensures imaging procedures meet all standards and protocols.
- Serves as a resource for other healthcare team members.
- Responds appropriately to emergent situations.
Evaluates imaging results for diagnostic quality.
- Assesses the validity of the test results to determine if consistent with changing physiological conditions or if due to possible interfering substances.
- Acts as a resource for problem-solving resolution.
Demonstrates ability to provide care or service adjusting approaches to reflect developmental level and cultural differences of population served.
Demonstrates Commitment to Customers
Required:
- ARRT registration
- BLS certification - Must have a current BLS from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
Preferred:
One year or more of technologist experience
