As a Quoting Coordinator at Savoy, you will provide support to the Specialty Benefits team both in the RFP and New Business Implementation roles. The ideal candidate will be required to be extremely organized and handle many different duties at one time. The ability to effectively prioritize tasks is critical.
Responsibilities
- Review a high volume of Requests for Proposal (RFP) requests on a daily basis and coordinate the marketing effort to our carrier partners
- Prepare carrier proposals that can be done internally through carrier portals and coordinate timeframe to meet deadlines
- Ensure that all RFP’s are organized, sent out to market and returned to our broker partners within the stated timeframe
- Provide detailed spreadsheet analysis where needed based on market proposals received
- Provide timely responses to broker questions during the RFP process
- Provide constant communication to brokers regarding status of rfp requests and expected timeframes
- Track and follow up on all active proposals with Sales Teams, Broker partners and clients when necessary
- Organize carrier marketing results and either send back directly to Brokers or return to Account Executive for recommendation and release to broker
- Maintain complete files on all RFP opportunities
- Maintain RFP requests in our internal tracking log, Monday.com
- Provide clear communication to internal staff on RFP status’ as needed
- Handle other assignments or responsibilities that may arise as part of the process
Qualifications
- Excellent people interaction and communication skills, positive attitude a must
- Excellent problem-solving ability, detail oriented, excellent organizational skills, ability to multi- task, re-prioritize duties, and work effectively in a fast-paced matrix environment.
- Strong computer skills to include MS Office: Word and Excel
