General Summary

Audit all Packaging Center activities that vary from standard process and procedures.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

• Proficient in Barcoding activities and Quality Department paperwork and processess.
• Investigate any deviations from standard processess and procedures
• Responsibility of documentation and execution of standard processes and procedures
• Indentify any corrective actions taken and attain document
• Responsible for auditing all shipping docks, receiving docks, frozen processing areas, frozen packaging areas, and the organization and control of the Quality Assurance sample area
• Track the occurrence of problems to see the frequency and the origin of the problem
• Create reports on the the audits and the problem solving activities
• Complete preop inspections and document corrective actions
• Document, sample and grade all incoming purchased product
• Proficiently perform all the Qaulity Assurance Functions
• Perform special preop testing and ATP swabbing on a daily basis
• Perform all allergen testing prior to processing lines starting up
• Perform weekly envirnomental sampling and swabbing
• Complete all sample requests coming from Corporate or from the operations deparment
• Review daily Quality Assurance records and sign off on them
• Update and maintain frozen packaging poly sample library
• Adhere to all Lakeside Foods policies
• Notify supervisor immediately if there is a potentially hazardous situation or unsafe condition happening

Knowledge and Skills

• One to three years of related experience
• Knowledge of all Quality Assurance policies and procedures
• Some post high school work is reccommended
• Understanding customer service specifications

Communication

• Be able to effectively communicate detailed information to supervisors and fellow production employees in written or oral form.
