Lumenous is hiring for morning (6am-2:30pm) and afternoon (2:30pm-11pm) shifts.

Locations, Customers and Quality

We are located in Santa Clara (CA), Leuven (Belgium), and Jiangyin (Jiangsu, China). Our facilities are equipped with laser micromachining centers, chemical and electrochemical processes, heat treatment processes and a variety of other capabilities to serve prototyping and volume manufacturing needs. Lumenous has customers in the U.S, Asia and Europe. Lumenous’ quality system is registered to ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 standards.

Position Title: Quality Assurance Inspector/Technician

Job Description:

Performs product inspections:

• Receiving inspection
• In-process inspection at various stages of production
• Using measurement microscopes
• Finished product inspection
• Packaging/shipping inspection
• Preventive maintenance care of inspection tools

Minimizes build time by facilitating in-process inspection feedback and reducing production rework.

As a skilled specialist, identifies effective ways to improve the quality assurance activities. Carries out tasks ranging from simple to more complex tasks which require applying quality principles to practical situations.

Works on assignments requiring judgment and initiative. Understands implications of work and makes recommendations for solutions. Contribute to methods and procedures on new assignments. May provide guidance to other nonexempt personnel.

Requirements:

• Communication skills.
• Understand engineering drawings and procedures
• Uphold safety, quality, and technical concepts.
• Attention to detail in procedures, components, and record-keeping
• Follow standardized procedures and specific instructions
• Teamwork in a variety-rich environment.
• Auditing quality system processes.
• Preparing data for analysis (MS Excel).
• High school diploma and transcript or equivalent, higher education a valued plus

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
