What is the Position?

The Quality Inspector will handle performing inspections on manufactured products also product received from our customer and suppliers. Lehi sheet Metal is looking for someone familiar with Precision sheet metal fabrication. We handle, small and large machined parts and various other products used in our manufacturing process. The Quality inspector will also be needed to interact with multiple departments and personnel.

Responsibilities Include:

• Under minimal direction, perform a wide variety of complex dimensional and functional inspection and test procedures on tools, and fixtures, received material and parts, in-process components and final assemblies, to ensure compliance with quality requirements with minimum supervision
• Inspect, measure and/or test obtained materials to specification requirements.
• Document inspection results, generates nonconforming material reports.
• Perform First Article Inspections.
• Work with hand tools such as micrometers, calculators, rulers and related tools
• Inspect specifications to ensure correct product is going to the correct customer and proper documentation is completed
• Certifications as well as certification of compliance
• Communicate with cross-functional departments to convey issues with products, specifications and disposition of product.
• Record all inspections into the Quality Control System.
• Follow established company and department SOP’s and maintain quality standards.
• Lehi is a custom Precision sheet metal fabricator. We are ITAR registered ISO 9001:2015 certified, AS9100 compliant.

Secondary Elements:

• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated and driven with the ability to multi-task and interact with various types of personnel throughout the organization.
• Excellent organizational skills and strict attention to detail and accuracy.
• Perform other related duties as assigned or as needed.
• Work effectively with others
• HS Diploma or equivalent- completed apprenticeship or technical degree
• 5 years precision sheet metal experience
• Read and interpret blue prints
• Read calipers, micrometers, height gauges, scales, etc.
• Calculate cut size

Job Type: Full-time

8-hour shift, Monday to Friday 7am to 3.30pm

Please Note: The work location for this position is in Westborough, MA.

Pre-Offer Process:

ALL EMPLOYEES ARE PAID ON AWEEKLY BASIS AND MUST HAVE DIRECT DEPOSIT.

Pay: $25 - $32 per hour
