POSITION AT A GLANCE:
Starting Pay:

• $21.32/hr + shift differential ($.35 for 2nd shift, $.40 for 3rd shift)

Scheduled Raises:

• To increase your rate to $26.65/hr by the end of your first year!

Schedule:

• FT Role that would cover vacancies as needed.
• Must be available to work all shifts as will need to jump between shifts.
• When not covering vacations or role vacancies, will be working 3rd shift, Sunday-Thursday 10 PM - 6:30 AM.

Location:

• In-person in East Hartford, CT

Preferred experience:

• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel and Word
• Associate's degree in science related field, food science highly preferred
• Production/manufacturing or relevant lab technician experience

Job Description
The Quality Assurance (QA) Technician is responsible for conducting qualitative and quantitative tests of raw materials and finished goods.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Conduct qualitative and quantitative testing of raw materials and finished goods throughout all stages of the production process
• Analyze syrup, water and/or beverage attributes
• Audit container rinsers, air blowers, filters and coders to insure proper operations
• Conduct quality inspections and audits of packaging and isolate product that does not meet standards
• Test CO2 and raw materials prior to production process
• Maintain highest standards of housekeeping and cleanliness to prevent microbial contamination

Job Requirements

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent required
• Bachelor’s degree in science related field preferred
• 2+ years of experience in production/manufacturing or 2+ years of relevant lab technician experience
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy skills
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel and Word
• Familiarity with lab safety and handling of hazardous materials
