Village at Belmar, Lakewood’s premiere senior living community, is seeking a caring and organized QMAP (Med-Tech) to join our team. You would be responsible for providing direct care to residents following their individual service plans. We treat each resident with respect and dignity, recognizing individual needs, and encouraging independence. We aim to foster a homelike atmosphere throughout the community. This is a full-time position working in the evenings from 2pm-10pm.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring and getting to and from activities and meals according to the individual service plan
- Initiate and participate in leisure activities provided for residents as described in the activity calendar. Encourage residents to socialize and participate in planned activities or programs and to develop friendships with other residents
- Assist or supervise residents who self-administer their medications as well as follow physician orders to administer medications to residents who cannot self-administer their medications
- Maintain resident’s records in our digital platform daily. This includes medication distribution, incidents and observations, reporting any changes in residents’ physical and/or behavioral condition, visitors, etc.
- Respond promptly and positively to resident requests for assistance, including emergency pull cords, telephone calls and requests from family and friends
Qualifications:
- Must have a QMAP Certificate
- Due to the nature of the work performed by Ascent Living Communities, and that this position works with a vulnerable population, we do require a criminal background check be completed
- This community will require proof of COVID-19 vaccination, upon job offer, to comply with the regulations from the Colorado Department of Public Health
Pay:
$17.60-18.50 an hour, based on experience
