ALCO Sales is a medical equipment and parts distributor assisting the healthcare industry across the US and Canada for over 70 years. We are currently seeking a person to fill our Purchasing/Receiving Clerk opening.

Receiving Duties:

• Processing purchase orders
• Opens boxes and inspects & count contents of shipments/returns
• Assuring no damaged items are sent or received
• Comparing packing lists to company purchase orders and ensuring that the products in each delivery match the packing list
• Notify Supervisor of any shipment discrepancies, damaged product, etc.
• Maintains records of all received shipments
• Conducts inventory of products, and logs information into database/run reports
• Place return product in stock location
• Package non-stock product to be returned to vendor
• Inspect and count items being sent in for repair
• Contact vendors to check status of open Purchase orders
• Uses dollies, forklifts, and other moving equipment to transport shipments from loading dock

Experience:

• Must be detail oriented
• Strong Organizational skills
• Previous warehouse experience required
• Returns experience a plus

Technical:

• Good computer skills
• Microsoft Word & Outlook knowledge experience required
• Good Typing skills
• Good communication skills

Physical Demand:

• Regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs, occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs
• Stand for 8+ hours

Hours:

8am – 4:30pm (Mon – Fri)

***Note: The selected candidate will work their first 520hrs through a staffing agency of our choosing.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
