Hours: 6:30am-3:00pm PST or 8:30am-5:00pm EST ; Monday- Friday
**This position is remote.

Core Responsibilities

  • Maintaining forecasts
  • Issuing point of service to vendors
  • Running reports
  • Helping to manage files

Qualifying Experience

  • some forecasting and/or demand planning experience within warehousing/distribution industry, strongly preferred
  • Highschool Diploma or College Diploma, preferred
  • Experience with Blueyonder/ JDA computer program, preferred
  • Knowledge with salesforce is a plus
  • Proficient with Excel, required
  • Clear communication skills, required

Job Description:

Research product status with vendors and report this information back to the Active At Risk Team. Teammate will also update OMNI PO Notes and Salesforce At Risk Notes to make this information available to all teammates.

Contact carriers to ensure that orders in transit to the DCs are set with appointment to delivery in a timely manner.

Create Off Cycle Vendor Pos and IBT Pos as requested for the Active At Risk team. Whenever possible, the team will comply with vendor order minimums and order procedures. Only using salesforce to create IBT

Follow up on issues sent to Inventory Control or DC Receiving teams Identify problem vendors and escalate recurring issues such as consistent late orders, receiving discrepancies caused by damaged or missing product, and missed delivery appointments.

Load approved subs into OMNI for the transactional accounts as supplied by the Service Level Analysts

Update item health database with ETA for new on boarding customers

Answer/Forward emails as needed from the DL-BUY email address

Good interpersonal skills

Solid planning and organizational skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Ability to independently seek issue resolution

Strong follow-up skills

PC/Systems skills & knowledge: MS Word and MS Excel required; Access preferred

Customer service oriented

Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for Sedentary Work. Light Work usually requires walking or standing to a significant degree. However, if the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for Sedentary Work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for Light Work

Education equivalent to a high school diploma

WORK EXPERIENCE:

Up to one year of experience expected in purchasing within warehousing/distribution.
