Hours will primarily be Monday-Friday from 8a.m. to 4 p.m. Up to 20.0 hours per week.
Southwest Community College invites applications for a part time position to work in the on-campus cafeteria and catering department.
Employee will be responsible for execution of menu items, maintaining cleanliness of service areas, customer service, and being able to work as a team.
Other responsibilities include participation in the following: achievement of the College’s mission and goals; upholding the College’s values; others as needed.
May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.
- Excellent verbal, listening, problem-solving, critical thinking and writing skills
- Culinary production experience
- Strong background in safety and sanitation compliance
- Willingness to learn and implement service standards
- Ability to work effectively with students and staff of various cultural and socio-economic backgrounds
- Experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, catering services, institutional services, etc.
