Proposal Coordinator

Jones & DeMille Engineering is seeking a creative, highly organized, and motivated Proposal Coordinator to leverage marketing and communication skills in the development of professional documents and competitive proposals. This position is being offered as a remote (work-from-home) arrangement. In-office work would be available within the Utah area if preferred.
The Proposal Coordinator is a member of the Corporate Marketing Team, which supports the firm’s ten office locations and marketing, client relationship management, and business development efforts.
The main responsibility of this position is to support the proposal process. Duties include:
- Collaborate with diverse project teams to strategize and create proposal materials
- Coordinate with corporate resources and proposal manager to develop proposal schedule, proposal content, facilitate team meetings, and conduct quality and compliance checks
- Coordinate qualification, proposal, and presentation activities including kickoff documentation, compliance matrices, and proposal deliverables
- Create compelling content with technical writing, editing, layout and graphics
- Maintain library of resumes, project summaries, references, and graphics
- Develop and uphold branding standards and usage guidelines for all company collateral and external messaging
Qualifications required:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field OR equivalent experience
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Cloud
- Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Effective verbal, listening, and written communication skills
- Experience and ability to tailor writing content based on project type, message, and intended audience
- Effective organizational, stress, and time management skills
- Ability to work effectively alone, as part of a team, and have a collaborative attitude
- Experience with marketing database or CRM system a plus
- Experience within the A/E/C industry a plus
