Project specialist

(Level up opportunity combines shop experience with desire to also manage project)

This is a master craftsman level individual with the ability to assist with quoting, design, build/ fabrication and project installs & startup. Typical background: 5 plus years in metal fabrication & welding.

May also have strong machine build / mechanical ability / Maintenance or be a project manager that enjoys the reward of hands-on building.

Receive project from:

• Management
• Project manager
• Sales
• Customer

May include one or all of the following:

• Scope the project
• Quote the project
• Present the project quote

Upon funding of the project:

• Create process sequencing
• Identify milestones

Review project design details with:

• Management
• Project manager
• Sales
• Customer

Review final design details of project

• Hands on fabrication & oversight of project including installation & startup

Maintain project Budget:

Group & Organize material in advance of the project.

Daily / regular review of project hours & material

Compensation: $72,500.00-$82,500.00 (Can earn more depending on the individual’s capabilities)

• Overtime
• Bonus per projectNet profit is forecast during the estimate phase.

Bonus to be paid quarterly at the end of the following quarter it was completed.

Requirements:

• Valid Missouri drivers license with good driving record (Must qualify to be on our insurance)
• Some weekends required.
• Must be able to travel overnight as needMonthly 2-3 nights at a time

Quarterly: 5-7 nights
Semiannual: 7- 14 days

• High school or equivalent
• 5 plus years stainless steel fabrication & installation or other related field

Work Day:

· Typical work day is 9 hours for this project

Helpful:

• Tig Welding stainless steel
• Stainless steel grind to #4 or better
• Mig welding stainless steel
• Press brake setup and operation
• Waterjet setup and operation
• Slip roll setup and operation
• Some computer experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $72,500.00 - $82,500.00 per year
