Duties and Responsibilities
The Project Manager will support the work of clinical research project entitled the Impact of a Race-Based Stress Reduction Intervention on Well-Being, Inflammation, and DNA methylation in Older African American Women at Risk for Cardiometabolic Disease.

- Coordinate study participant tracking system and manage all study records
- Recruit, screen, and enroll research participants
- Conduct the informed consent discussion with the participant and obtain informed consent.
- Perform procedures as directed by the research protocol.
- As needed, make home visits
- Collect data such as blood pressure measurement and ensure safe transfer of specimens to the laboratory
- Maintain research procedure schedules for study.
- Complete data entry into research database.
- Manage research participant payments.
- Assist with management of study budget
- Order study supplies and track supplies as needed
- Effectively communicate with health care professionals
- Prepare, organize, and update relevant study materials and data records
- Participate in research study team meetings as required
- Other duties, as assigned

Minimum Education and/or Work Experience
Bachelor’s degree in related field and five years of related experience or terminal degree as defined by department.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree OR equivalent clinical training experience or education
- Previous healthcare or healthcare-related experience, preferred
- 1-2 years of previous research assistant experience, required
- Superb interpersonal skills and attention to detail are essential
