Gaithersburg Architectural Millwork is an award winning, fast paced interior architecture firm with an extensive portfolio of luxury high end commercial architectural millwork. We seek a dynamic and innovative Project Manager.
The ideal candidate will be familiar with interior finishes, Architectural Woodwork Institute standards, with a minimum of 1-5 years of project management experience. We offer a comfortable friendly work environment and potential for growth.
Position responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Hand off of project from estimator and review scope of work including specifications and architectural drawings.
- Field measuring on job site when required or coordinate with field superintendent.
- Coordinate delivery of material and installation
- Align with drafting/engineering for submittals. Coordinate paperwork for project
- Review and follow up on changes/red marks on submittal drawings
- RFI’s and change orders when required
- Meet with production team for updates
- Accurately process billings to customers and change authorization to subcontractors.
- Responsible to proactively manage the project budget by controlling expenses, identifying work not covered in subcontractor’s scope of work and budget.
- Interacts directly with General Contractor (GC) and provides customer service.
- Exceeds expectations and develops rapport with General Contractor.
- Assist Field Operations by proactively managing the project budget by controlling expenses.
- Handle and manage onsite coordination with contractors and subs
- Strong team orientation and relationship building.
Position requirements:
- Prefer 1-5 years’ experience in architectural millwork project management.
- Excellent customer service, verbal, & written skills.
- Organized and detail oriented.
- Ability to read Architectural Drawings.
- Able and willing to learn and adapt to our systems and procedures.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Knowledge of Bluebeam or Tradesoft a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
