TIELLO has partnered with a highly successful General Contractor in Orange County, CA on their search for a Project Engineer with experience in Commercial/Light industrial ground-up and tenant improvement projects to join our team on multiple projects.

Job Title: Project Engineer (1-3+ yrs Commercial Construction Exp)

Project Types: New Construction, Tenant Improvement, Medical Office, Class A Office, Special Projects, Light Industrial, Storage Facilities, Tilt-Wall

Key Responsibilities:

• The Project Engineer provides technical guidance and direction to the Project Management team.
• Facilitates the RFI process as directed by the Project Manager, Superintendent or more senior Project Engineer.
• Perform a wide variety of engineering and administrative activities relative to project planning, estimating, scheduling, project buy-out, budget administration, contract and subcontract administration, procurement, coordination, expediting, cost control and document control.
• Work with the Superintendent in establishing preconstruction dates for scheduling of subcontract awards, approvals, manufacturing, etc.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficient in Procore, Bluebeam, and any other relevant technology/software experience preferred.
• 1-3+ years of Commercial experience reflecting the knowledge and skills listed above
