Cincinnati Fan has a 60+ year history of designing and manufacturing industrial fans that are used in applications around the world. Summary:
The production tester conducts vibration testing procedures of product fans to make sure they comply with testing standards. Then the fans can be shipped to our customers.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Review shop order to ensure proper assembly of fan(s), mount fan on test block or suitable fixture, perform temporary electrical hook-up, and conduct vibration testing of our Division 2 product line.
- Monitor and record vibration and take basic correction action necessary to correct problems noted.
- Refer test and /or test procedure problems and difficulties encountered to the department supervisor.
- Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment, machines or other devised used in the normal course of the work performed.
- Monitor quality of own work and report to supervisor defective material, unusual conditions and operating difficulties. Keep required time and/or production records.
- Maintain general work areas and/or equipment used in a clean and orderly condition.
- Follow and adhere to prescribed safety regulations and procedures.
- Desire to do the right thing for our customers.
- May assist in training of new or transferred employee.
Hours
- 2nd Shift: Monday- Thursday 2:30pmpm- 1am (+ $1.50 shift differential)
Education and Experience
- High school diploma
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to clearly articulate data and information between departments and to coworkers.

Work Environment
- While performing the job of assemble, the employee is exposed to vibration, loud noise and dust.
- The employee may work near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock.
Physical Demands
While performing this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, but also walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk and hear instructions. Employee will regularly lift and move up objects up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
