CHOSEN TALENT SEARCH is seeking a 2nd shift Production Supervisor for a rewarding opportunity with full benefits for a manufacturing, industry leader North of Raleigh. 2+ years' manufacturing supervisory experience needed. Batch manufacturing experience preferred. Associate's or greater degree strongly desired. Hiring for both 1st and 2nd shift Supervisors.

Supervisor Responsibilities:

• Determine workforce needs, and schedule labor efficiently within workforce budget restrictions.
• Control quality of product during manufacturing process.
• Ensure a safe work environment
• Document, decipher, and implement continuous improvement methodology.
• Setting and adjusting all mechanical, pneumatic, and thermal controls for the production line.
• Ability to analyze problems and skill with solving mechanical problems
• Supervise changing, and cleaning the molds and setting up the press stations
• Ensure accurate and adequate communication between Management team and Employees.
• Ensure success of on-the-job training, directing trainers and trainees, facilitating completion and recordkeeping tasks.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Proficient knowledge of product based formulas and making modifications in production when necessary.
• Safety awareness and understanding of all safety policies and procedures
• Capability of identifying production problems and resolving conflicts.
• Ability to manage associates, provide the opportunity for training and advancement.
• Ability required for calculating production planning and prioritizing orders.
• Capable of implementing cost saving projects to improve the bottom line.
• Computer literate and the ability to develop safety documents for production and update HRIS as needed.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability required for calculating production planning and prioritizing orders.

• Familiarity with weighing material according to SOPs.
• Knowledge of Metric system

• Capability to manage electrical power interruption and start-ups.
• Proficient knowledge of product based formulas and making modifications in production when necessary.

• Ability to manage associates, provide the opportunity for training and advancement.

Status: Salaried, Non-Exempt

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
