Savvy Staffing Solutions is seeking candidates with manufacturing experience to join our team! Our client company located in Hudson, MA has positions available on 1st and 2nd shift. These are full time, temp to hire positions with a great benefit package available once hired on permanent.

Position: Wire Rack Technician

Schedule: Monday-Friday

3rd Shift 9:30p-6a

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for working from order sheets and written instructions
• Responsible for following direction from job order sheet in order to prepare coil and core wires for mounting to set up fixtures
• Responsible for pre-cleaning of work station to prevent particulate contamination
• Responsible for assisting or moving fixtures from storage locations to workstation with the aid of a co-worker to prevent distortion of fixtures
• Responsible for inspection of parts and fixtures (aka racks) for suitability before assembly
• Responsible for performing adjustments to all fixtures for proper masking dimensions
• Responsible for logging all operation steps onto computer data collection system or manual lot vital sheets
• Responsible for cleaning assigned work stations, remove and dispose of trash, refuse and used metal

Qualifications:

• Must be able to use basic hand tools and basic measuring devices
• Must have basic math skills
• Must be able to speak, read and write in English

Physical Demands:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is asked to be mentally and physically capable of continuous movement during their shift. Must be able to stand for an extensive period of time during the duration of a shift. Employee is ask to have 20/20 vision (with the aid of glasses or contact lenses) with very good hand dexterity. Must be able to lift between 10 and 50lbs.

Pay: From $19.80 per hour
