Title :Procurement Analyst

Pay rate :$22 hourly

Part-Time, in Office Intern Position. Approximately 15-20 hours per week.

Job Description:

• The Procurement Analyst will support strategic procurement and category management by providing analytical support to procurement. The Procurement Analyst will work collaboratively with cross-functional team members, provide detailed analysis, advice, and interpretation of category spend. This team member will support procurement by compiling and reviewing complex, multi-source spend data that will support various procurement events and improvement initiatives across categories.

Description

• We are pursuing energetic candidates skilled in strategic sourcing and/or procurement analytics. They should be prepared to be fully engaged, aggressively seek out procurement knowledge, and independently manage themselves from start to finish on tasks assigned to them. The procurement analyst will work with the procurement team supporting analytic reporting and tracking needs.

Responsibilities

• Conducts current spend analysis from all available sources and synthesizes information into effective models that support the decision-making process to support in all aspects of procurement: strategic sourcing, category management and operational procurement.
• Supports development of RFP packages.
• Ensures accuracy of all data used by procurement by gathering data from multiple data sources and accurately synthesizing to support strategic procurement events and projects.
• Facilitates financial analysis, rebate management, various costing scenarios, and competitive bid analysis.
• Prepares data for Category Strategy Overviews.
• Prepares procurement reports and statistics to measure supplier performance.
