This is a Machine Operator position with WM Technologies, LLC which sells Weil-McLain® branded products. Weil-McLain® is a leading North American Brand of hydronic comfort heating systems for residential, commercial and institutional buildings since 1881

*$1,500 phased sign-on bonus. $750 @ 90 days, $750 @ a year*

Shift: Monday – Thursday 6:30PM – 5:00AM

Operates machines to punch, blank, or bend metal into shapes.

Position Responsibilities:

• Perform functions necessary as prescribed by Work Order and Blueprint.
• Interpret Blueprint and set-up equipment so that quality components to specification are produced with minimal input from others.
• Perform First Piece inspection as needed.
• Spot Welding as needed.
• Change tooling as needed
• Assure proper material types are loaded into equipment.
• Clean equipment, tools and gauges to ensure they are safe and orderly at all times
• Identify and define problems, collect data, establish facts, effectively involve Operator and leads to draw valid conclusions
• Work on other Fabrication and paint equipment as needed.

The most qualified candidates will demonstrate the following:

• Machine operating experience
• Able to spot/resistance weld. MIG and TIG welding experience is a plus.
• Blueprint reading and mechanical abilities.
• Must be able to read calipers and other metrology equipment.
• Strong math skills (decimals, fractions, use of calculator).
• Must be able to setup, operate and adjust machines as required.
• Strong computer knowledge and skills.
• Ability to perform moderate PM procedures.
• Able to understand production planning requirements.
• Must have excellent attendance record.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
