Porter

Full Time | 7-3 pm | Wednesday - Sunday

At our 5-Star Senior Care Community located in Pittsford, NY - Cloverwood's exceptional offerings promote a passion for life, as well as personal growth and wellbeing of the whole person - in mind, body, and spirit.

A Porter is responsible for all heavy-duty floor care, moving or lifting furniture and/or supplies and all Environmental Services duties requiring the use of a ladder.

Requirements for a Cloverwood Porter:

• High school diploma, preferred.
• Reasonably strong, capable of lifting.

Responsibilities for a Cloverwood Porter:

• Collects waste from designated areas.
• Maintains tile floor in designated areas.
• Washes windows and walls as assigned.
• Cleans public and staff restrooms
• Cleans stairwells and elevators as assigned.
• Cleans dining room as necessary after mealtime.
• Refinishes tile floors and shampoos carpets as required.
• Assists in room preparations, as necessary.
• Participates in in-service education and safety programs.
• Performs other duties as required by Supervisor or by Administration from time to time.
