The Day to Day

• Clean and maintain filled pools and facilities by skimming, vacuuming, and performing chemical treatments
• Periodically empty pools to perform deep cleaning, including brushing and scrubbing walls, floors, and surfaces
• Regularly test pool water for pH; chlorine; presence of bacteria, algae, or contaminants; and other data
• Ensure correct color, chemistry, and clarity of pool water
• Calculate and add chemical treatments to maintain pH balance, eliminate contaminants, or correct other problems
• Take-in how to inspect pool and equipment
• Complete and maintain daily logs outlining chemical usage, water quality, repairs, and supplies
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

The Person

• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Understanding of pool cleaning chemicals and equipment related to swimming pools would be nice to have
• Mechanical and manual labor skills related to aquatic facilities and equipment preferred
• Math Skills to calculate chemical additives and ratios
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver’s License with at least 1 year of driving history
• Ability to work independently
• 1 year of related experience required

The Environment - (Physical Requirements)

• Must be able to lift 80 pounds at a time
• Required to be able to bend, stretch, kneel, and squat
• Essential that you love to be outdoors
• Must have adequate sight and hearing to properly interpret water analysis, equipment readings, and complete record keeping
• Physically able to perform all aspects of cleaning, checking, and monitoring pools and facilities
