Dragonfly Pond Works is an environmental service company specializing in stormwater management. Since 2006, Dragonfly has provided routine maintenance and repairs on stormwater devices, lakes, ponds, wetlands, and underground facilities. The Company services throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast, from Maryland to Florida and currently has approximately 100 employees.

Role and Responsibilities

The role of Regional Manager is critical to the success of Dragonfly Pond Works. The core purpose of this position is to ensure that the company's clients are serviced in accordance with the highest standard of quality while maximizing the efficiency and productivity of assigned crew members operating in the field.

The scope of this role is broad, including activities associated with quality control, personnel management, training, equipment and fleet management, project management, and occasional fieldwork. This is a newly created position; therefore, it will evolve over time based on the needs of the company and as new business opportunities arise.

• 
  Various administrative duties relating to management of stormwater maintenance accounts and direct reports
  • Efficient routing and scheduling of all maintenance accounts to ensure all accounts are serviced each month
  • Daily adjustments to schedules
  • Work ticket management
  • Purchasing oversight and entry of purchase receipts
  • Periodic review of maintenance logs to check for consistency and accuracy for clear communication to clients
• Support assigned maintenance team in their day-to-day duties - answer questions, provide guidance, training and regular feedback
• Regular communication with Maintenance Division Manager to coordinate schedules and resources, solve problems and plan for branch needs
• Review of maintenance account performance in assigned territories to ensure profitability and efficiency align with the company's goals. Make recommendations for contract adjustments or termination based on performance metrics
• Order, track and inventory pesticides and PPE for assigned branches
• Assist the HR Department in the interviewing, hiring and onboarding of new Maintenance employees
• Maintain current NC and SC Aquatic Pesticide Applicator License for yourself and all direct reports
