Come be a part of our dynamic, fun, smart, and supportive clinical team of SLP's, OT's, and PT's at one of our three pediatric centers in San Diego.

Hi! Thank you for stopping and taking time to learn more about our pediatric therapy center, Kara Dodds and Associates (we call "KDA"). Established in 2001, KDA has helped so many children and families as our clinicians help these children achieve those ever so powerful "milestone moments". We celebrate those little victories that make being a therapist rewarding, fun, and the best job ever! We are so proud of this.

Empowering children is what we do, and our team of clinicians does this each and every day.

Why KDA? We are center based and do not vendor to the schools as we find clinicians thrive when working side by side with a team of other like minded therapists. Our SLP's have their own designated treatment rooms with our OT's / PT's have sensory gyms, feeding areas, sensory rooms and more.

• Support, support, support! We provide orientation, observation time for new hires, and a 30 day "New Hire Support Plan” which takes training and onboarding to the next level! No sink or swim here as we know that's not good for therapists and not good for our clients. It's all about team support, training and collaboration at KDA.
• Want to love your co-workers and find people of like mindedness? Then, this is your place. Our clinicians are the best around. Smart, dedicated, innovative clinicians, cheerful and friendly group of people who really do enjoy working together and even get together outside of the center. At KDA we call it "being on the bus", meaning, we are structured to have our team all working toward the same goals so it makes work fun. Our experienced management support team (built of clinicians) and admin primary goals are to assist therapists and always have a "can do” motto. Our clinic director and owner are driven to help keep our "circle going" (like our logo) with passion, innovation, flexibility and lots of spoiling of our team.
• Want documentation time? You have it here so no work needs to go home and can be completed at the center during the day. We also chart w/ EMR making it super quick, consistent, and efficient with the chrome books provided too.
• Want collaboration with other disciplines? We have that! Not only can you work in the same spaces treating, but we collaborate on cases and every week have company-wide staff meetings where we host guest speakers, share CEU information and more.
• Want your own space? Yep, we have that too. We provide decoration budgets so you can let your creatively flow in our therapy space. Post your diplomas, hang your visuals, create a reading nook area - make it your own!
• Want materials? Good as we have them here too! We love the good stuff so we purchase games, therapy cards, sensory gym equipment all the time to keep us fully stocked.
• Want admin support to help with report processing and insurance requests? So do we! We have admin to support in all areas and a lot of them too! Organizing and tracking authorizations, processing reports, gathering new client paperwork, checking in patients, scheduling, and setting our clinicians up for success is what they do.
• Want flexibility? So do we and our clients too! We have a lot of options that can meet your needs too. Most our team is full time but we also have room for part timers for afternoons, evenings, and even Saturday mornings.
