About us

St. Dominic Child Care, in affiliation with St. Dominic Church within the Archdiocese of Hartford (AOH), opened in October 2016. We are a licensed childcare center with spots for 88 children for ages 6 weeks to 5 years old.

Positions Available: In the Infant and Toddler Classrooms

Various Shifts Available: 12-5:30pm; 12:30-6pm

Days Required: Monday through Friday

Job Summary:

Saint Dominic Child Care is looking for nurturing and dedicated individuals to join our team. All classrooms' staff 4 teachers (2 AM and 2 PM). Candidates must be able to provide a loving, supportive, safe, and educational learning environment to young children.

Responsibilities:

*Engage with, nurture, and provide care to each child

*Supervise and provide and effective learning environment

*Communicate daily with the families (in person and through the center app)

*Manage the center’s app throughout the day on classroom iPad

*Work with the classroom team to create and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum

*Maintain a clean and organized classroom

Requirements:

*Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task

*Experience working with children

*Education in Early Childhood is a plus

*CPR/First Aid/Med/Epi-Pen Certified is a plus
