Part-time Program Helpline Coordinator (REMOTE) (25 hours/week)
Position Summary: Cancer Support Community (CSC) is seeking a dedicated, professional, and passionate part-time Helpline Coordinator. This position is key to the success of the Cancer Support Helpline and includes administrative as well as patient and caregiver-focused activities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations of the Helpline, including scheduling and training aspects.
- Serve as trained resource specialist for Helpline as needed for coverage.
- Assist with reporting data and dashboards and with monitoring quality standards.
- Develop and implement Helpline workflows and process improvements.
- Coordinate educational webinars.
- Write and/or edit funding proposals.
- Manage partner and vendor contracts and partner relationships.
- Co-Plan and Implement staff education opportunities for Helpline.
- Manage Helpline budget, income, and expenses.
- Monitor and improve Helpline data platforms in collaboration with Sr. Director and technical vendor representatives.
- Coordinate monthly, quarterly, mid-year, and annual reporting and dashboards.
- Oversee all existing grants and partnerships related to the Helpline, including budget tracking, deliverables, and quarterly reports.
- Other duties as assigned.
IMPORTANT SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum of two (2) years of professional experience supporting and/or managing programs with
- Strong writing and editing skills
- Excellent listener and communicator who effectively conveys information verbally and in writing
- Keen attention to detail
- Excellent collaboration, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Highly self-motivated and directed
- Creative thinker with experience implementing programs, process improvements, and data-based service interventions.
Work Location
CSC offers several options for where you may work. Position may be located at a CSC headquarters office in Washington, DC., or Philadelphia, on a full-time basis or on a hybrid (in office/ work from home) model. You may also choose to work remotely from any location in the United States.
