Are you a Maintenance Tech with experience at multi-family and mid-rise properties looking to take your next step? Malmo Apartments is conveniently located on the northern border of Seattle in Shoreline, WA. It is a class b, stabilized community with 129 units consisting of studios, one bedrooms and two bedrooms. It is well-maintained and has had consistent staffing for several years and that's reflected in our high ratings from customers!


Details

  • Benefits: 401k program, medical plans with 100% premium coverage + leasing bonuses
  • Wage: $22 to $24 per hour
  • Schedule: Flexible and approximately 20 hours per week

A Day in the Life

  • Perform general maintenance and repairs of building, including but not limited to: minor plumbing repair, general carpentry, painting, drywall, minor appliance repair and cleaning.
  • Perform unit turns including but not limited to: servicing appliances, plumbing and electrical, replace old or faulty parts, re-key locks, replace burnt out light bulbs and interior painting.
  • Address and follow up as necessary on all residents' work order requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain positive and professional relationships with vendors and suppliers and work with them to produce the best product and pricing for the properties.
  • Maintain professionalism and communicate effectively with all key stakeholders including, but not limited to, residents, tenants, the Property manager, Portfolio manager, office staff, and vendors.
  • Complete all work in a timely and professional manner.

Must be able to work flexible hours and respond to after-hours requests


  • 2+ years general maintenance experience or equivalent training is required
  • Familiarity with Washington State and city of Seattle Landlord-Tenant Laws helpful
  • High school diploma or equivalent
