Job description

The Guest Service Associate position is currently part time; 2 -8-hour days (16 hour/ week)

Your schedule will be the two days / week that our full time /Guest Services Manager is off.

You will have accountability for the overall customer satisfaction within the assigned skilled nursing facility center. The position is responsible for navigating new customers and their families and loved ones from admission through discharge, ensuring the highest quality of service and patient experience. You would also be responsible for ensuring ongoing staff CARE training to ensure all Facility staff are confident in providing exceptional, compassionate care and customer service. Guest Services staff ensures that the assigned unit(s) are prepared for new patient admissions and tours, liaise between patients and Facility Departments to address patient questions and concerns, ensure resolution to any presented grievances, and positively impact patient and family satisfaction.

SPECIFIC EDUCATIONAL/VOCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

§ Graduate of an accredited associate degree program, preferably in hospitality, healthcare administration/management, or business; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

§ This position requires that the employee can read, write, speak, and understand the spoken English language to ensure the safety and well-being of our patients and visitors at the work site when responding to their medical and physical needs.

§ Must provide verification of TST (tuberculin skin test) as required by state law and in accordance with Company policy. TSTs will be administered at the work site if required.
