Bus Driver Job Description
Job Summary:
Driver needed to drive 2 hour a.m. route and/or 2 hour p.m. route. Morning route is 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. Afternoon route is 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Each bus will only have 2 cluster stops.
Enjoy driving a new clean bus with air conditioning.
Requirements:
- Must have a current NC CDL
- License with Class B P/S endorsement
- Current DOT medical
- Prefer experience as a school bus driver for K-8 grade students within the past year
Physical Requirements:
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening/ DOT Drug Test
- Must pass a pre-employment criminal/DMV check
- Must have a safe driving record
- Prolonged periods of operating the bus.
- Must be able to assist passengers when needed.
Education and Experience:
- Must be 21 years of age.
- High School Diploma /GED
- Must have a passenger endorsement on their class C license
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience as a bus driver or school bus driver
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 per hour
