Part-Time Billing Administrator
Job description
We are looking for a part-time accounting assistant. Our current location is in Sorrento Valley, but we will be moving offices to a location closer to I15 (between Scripps Ranch & Rancho Bernardo) in August 23. We are open to a hybrid work environment. Our office is open from 8am to 5pm and hours are flexible. Candidate would work 15 to 20 hours per week and can set their own hours.
The job duties consist of:
- Accounts receivable processing: Receiving payments against memorized invoices for recurring subscription transactions. Some manual payment processing. Generating invoices for one time transactions. Outreach to past due customers (typically < 5% of monthly invoices)
- Accounts payable processing: Entering bills in bill.com platform for approval and payment by management. Verifying bill amounts.
- New order entry & payment processing
- Credit card / bank statements / loan reconciliations in Quickbooks
- Reporting of weekly operations & marketing funding account needs.
- Payroll processing (2/mo)
- Assistance in generating quarterly cash flow projections report
Systems used:
- Quickbooks online (Accounting)
- Bill.com (AP processing)
- Paylocity (payroll)
- Google Docs (report creation & storage)
- Salesforce (order processing)
Required experience:
- 3+ Years with Quickbooks
- Understanding of basic accounting principles (credits, debits, chart of accounts)
- 2+ years experience performing reconciliations is a plus
- 1 year experience with Salesforce is a plus
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.50 per hour
