Overnight Front Office Manager will be responsible for the management of all aspects of the overnight Front Desk functions in accordance with hotel standards. Directs, implements, and maintains a service and management philosophy that guides respective staff.


Essential Responsibilities:

  • Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies, service procedures, and standards.
  • Anticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge all guests, however busy and at whatever time of day.
  • Maintain positive guest relations at all times.
  • Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Ensure that current information on rates, packages, and promotions is available at the Front Desk and that all staff is knowledgeable on such.
  • Ensure that staff reports working as scheduled. Document any late or absent associates.
  • Assign work duties to staff and conduct pre-shift meetings with staff to review all information pertinent to the day's business.
  • Constantly monitor staff performance in all phases of service and job functions. rectify any deficiencies with respective personnel, including Front Desk, Bell/Door staff, PBX, Concierge, and all overnight staff.
  • All other duties as required.

Experience: Minimum two years experience as an assistant manager in luxury or ultra-luxury hospitality. Experience working overnight shifts and as a Night Manager on Duty preferred.


Education:
High school diploma. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in business or a relevant field of work, or an equivalent combination of education and/or work-related experience a plus.


Language:
Required to speak, read, write English, and do basic mathematics. Fluency in other languages is a plus.


The salary range for this position is $68,000. This is the pay range for this position that the Hotel reasonably expects to pay. [If applicable: This position also may be eligible for bonuses.] Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors, such as experience, type of hotel experience, location, and education.
